Positive Change From Within: Balance Your Chakras!
How can you open up something you can’t see, let alone something you might not even know is blocked?
Crystals and gemstones balance your chakras.To find out whether you have any blocked chakras (energy centers in your body) look around you at your career, relationships, health, wealth, fun time, spiritual fulfillment and overall wellbeing and satisfaction with life. How do you feel about these areas of your life? Are you struggling anywhere? For example, you may be doing great except you have a poor body image. Or you might be ‘all work and no play’, or a chronic inability to put your financial house in order. You might feel confident with your artistic ability but unable to monetize it. Take a few minutes to reflect on the overall state of your life and satisfaction. If something – even a little something – feels “off” then you know you have a blocked chakra.
Chakras are seven ‘wheels’ of energy spinning in your body from the base of your spine to the top of your head with the purpose of channeling energy to wherever it’s needed. Each chakra corresponds to different areas of the body as well as specific life situations.
In many ways, your chakras are like street intersections in a city. The traffic grid is designed to keep traffic flowing freely. But you’ve experienced it yourself – city traffic can easily become jammed. All it takes is one car stuck halfway in the intersection (they insisted on making the light) and traffic is snarled in all directions. It becomes a domino effect of cars becoming backed up behind the light, and no traffic at all beyond the light.
If one or more of your chakras are blocked, they cause imbalances on both sides of the flow. Some areas will experience an overabundance of stagnant energy, while others will be depleted. The result is poor health, undesirable life conditions and lack of wellbeing.
You may have blockages or imbalances in several chakras. Often the problem can be traced to one major blockage. Take a free chakra test to find out which of your chakras are blocked!
To improve your life, clear your chakras. Positive change starts within. You can move, get a new job, change your wardrobe, get into a new relationship and take up a new hobby, but unless you address the underlying energy imbalance, it will just be the same problems as always, on a new day.
Use the delicious color therapy of fruits and veggies to balance your chakras!You can use the following techniques to clear your chakras and restore balance:
1. Energy healing such as Reiki or acupuncture. Energy healers can sense blockages and use intention, fine needles, pressure (touch) or crystals or gemstones. The color and structure of crystals correspond to vibrations of each of the seven chakras. Needles and touch physically stimulate specific points (called “meridians”) that help channel energy to the chakras. And don’t underestimate the power of intention, or intensely focused thoughts and emotion.
2. Color therapy. Each color has a specific vibrational quality that can be used as a tuning fork to bring a chakra into resonance with it (each chakra has a corresponding color). How it works: it’s no coincidence that we perceive some colors to be energizing and others soothing, or some pleasing and others irritating. It has everything to do with their energetic signature and how it affects you. Use specific colors in your environment or clothing as a way to support that chakra. On a fun note, use colorful fruits and veggies not only for their nutritional support of the physical body, but as delicious color therapy!
Sound therapy is very effective in clearing the chakras.3. Sound Therapy: It’s easier to understand the energetic quality of everything when we talk about sound – a vibration that we can actually feel. Listen to your intuition and play or listen to music that FEELS good. If you feel you need energizing music, go for it. Use soothing music to help calm your system if you’re too full of energy. Use recorded music you like as well as bells, gongs, chimes, Tibetan singing bowls and musical instruments to play sounds that intuitively feel good.
4. Visualization: memorize what each chakra’s functions are, and visualize absolute perfection in your life in that area – both in your body and in your life situation. Align your personal energy with the IDEAL, not the current situation (which is full of disturbed or stagnant energy).
5. Yoga: Use yoga to balance the physical body; since the mind/body are just different aspects of the same, this is an outside-in approach that really works. Yoga also helps you to focus your mind, which will help you set your intention to open up and balance your chakras.
